The Fendi Western Boot

Howdy Ladies and gentlemen, y’all grab your partner by the hand. It’s with great pleasure we invite you to spend the next 10-or-so seconds gazing upon these western works of art.

‘Western Cowgirl’ is going to be huge this summer 2018.

Following last week’s Milan Fashion Fashion

Week, Fendi started the trend with the ultimate cowboy boot, with their ‘The Sloane Ranger’ themed collection. It was an ode to the ‘80s, as well as these scene-stealing urban cowboy boots. They come in a buffet of heights – from ankle to thigh-high – colours and fabrics.

What’s your poison? Is it the bang on-trend grey British check, the kitschy FF logo print, the red satin option or baby blue leather? Perhaps you’re more of a plain black with a cheeky cut-out ankle kind of girl.

For decades now, Fendi’s been renowned for its strong accessory game. It was, after all, the brand that gave the world its first real It-bag, the Baguette – thanks almost entirely to long-time creative director of accessories Sylvia Venturini Fendi. (Karl Lagerfeld has designed the brand’s ready-to-wear for decades too.)

And while the bags on the AW18 catwalk were stunning as always (Gigi Hadid’s demure clutch made her sassy-prim look complete), there’s no scandal in saying that the shoes stole the show.

I have my own cowboy boots which I bought in Ibiza a couple of summers ago, plus some infamous blue star Free People beauties which will be pulled out of the closet for this Easter.

Easter is the countdown to summer, so get your Cowboy hat on and lasso those kicks asap.
