This kinky fashion style has taken the red carpet by storm. Kim Kardashian and Dua Lipa are among the stars to wear BDSM dresses recently.
Plenty of bold fashion trends have sprung up in 2019 – but this is the boldest. I’m loving the BDSM look but am far too shy to wear any of it. In public anyway.
Think skin-tight lycra or rubber dresses and kinky straps, all in black, of course.
On Sunday, Kim Kardashian embraced her inner dominatrix on the amfAR red carpet. The reality TV star risked a wardrobe malfunction by squeezing into a strappy gown. Naughty cut-outs featured on the front of the halter dress, while a thigh high split also exposed plenty of skin. Cuffs adorned each arm, further enhancing the powerful feel of the outfit.
The mum-of-three (almost 4) kept the frock centre stage by opting for minimal make-up and keeping her hair slicked back. I loved this look.
Earlier this month, singer Dua Lipa turned up to a film premiere in this daring black and white dress by Armani Privé. A corset top gave off plenty of dominatrix vibes. This was furthered by her cage skirt, which flashed a sparkly pair of black knickers underneath.
Vampy lipstick and smokey eye make-up added a final flourish to the moody get-up.
